• Chidren are a reward from the Lord
  Psalm 127:3
  Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward
   

• God desires that it go well with us and with our children.
  Deut. 4:40
  Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
   

• God desires that our children be protected from all evil
  Psalm 147:13
  For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
  Psalm 91:10
  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 
   

• God desires to bless our children
  Psalm 128:3-6
  Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
   [4] Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
  [5] The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
  [6] Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
  Psalm 144:12
  That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
   

• How children should Grow as per God’s plan
  Luke 1:80
  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
  Luke 2:40
  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
   

• God desires to teach all our children
  Isaiah 54:13-14
  And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children. [14] In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
   

• God desires that our children and ourselves should be signs and wonders
  Isaiah 8:18
  Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
