What is marriage?

Marriage is “you declaring your commitment and trust to a person you hardly know that you will be faithful to him in good times and bad times and you will share your property and everything that belongs to you."

Isn't it amazing? You make such a commitment as if you know everything about this new life partner, but in reality you probably know nothing about him or her.

As years go by, you face the reality of marital life. You find that marriage is not a bed of roses. As kids enter our family, the pressures of marriage begin showing up.

And today with the pressures of industrialization the and long working hours the job of bringing up the kids in addition to running the family falls on the wife. The problem is worsened if the wife is also working as in addition to attending to her office she has to look after the family.

Many marriages fail or enter into strained relationships because both partners fail to do certain things which the creator of all human beings and the one who instituted the institution of marriage desires that they do over the years. The reason is because of lack of knowledge of the rules and laws written in the marriage manual of the creator. What is the marriage manual of the creator?

It is the written word of God.

That is why one has to have a very clear understanding about the marriage manual of the creator and what it says about living a supernatural Marital life and enjoying supernatural family living.

No matter what struggles you work through, no matter what problems one may face in their lives the marital partners should know without a shadow of doubt that they have no escape clause in the marriage vows which they have taken before God.
